Privacy Policy

1. Overview

AutoPrint ID Suite ("AutoPrint") is an ID-photo layout and printing tool by BusinessTool PH (Escasi Ecompreneur Corporation, Philippines). This policy focuses on how AutoPrint handles photos and app data. Accounts, orders, and payments are managed by BusinessTool PH under its own policy at businesstoolph.com/privacy-policy, which also applies to your use of AutoPrint.

2. Your photos stay on your device by default

• Photos you upload or capture, your edits, drafts, saved templates for guests, and exported files are stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB / local storage) on the device you use.
• Editing (layout, cropping, filters, name tags, signature, formal attire overlay, manual background brush) happens entirely in your browser — those photos are not uploaded to our servers.
• Printing and exporting (PDF/JPEG/PNG) are performed on your device.
• Clearing your browser data removes these locally stored photos and drafts.

3. When a photo does reach our servers

• QR phone-to-station transfer — when you send a photo from a phone to the AutoPrint station via QR code, the (compressed) photo is held temporarily on our server so the station can retrieve it. Transfer sessions are short-lived: the photo is deleted after delivery or when the session expires.
• AI background removal — when you use this feature, a downscaled copy of the photo is sent to our background-removal processing partner solely to produce the edited image, which is returned to your device. We keep a count of how many removals you use (for plan limits), not the photos themselves.
• Saved templates (subscribers) — template layouts (paper size, slot positions) are saved to your account. Layouts do not contain your photos.

4. Account, orders, and payments

Registration, login, subscriptions, vouchers, and payment receipts are handled by BusinessTool PH — see its policy for details on account data, receipt storage, transactional emails, retention, and your rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).

5. Cookies and usage counters

• A signed session cookie keeps you logged in.
• Free-tier AI background removal uses a cookie plus a per-network daily counter to enforce fair-use limits.
• No advertising or analytics trackers are used.

6. Your rights & contact

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, and exercise your other rights under RA 10173, by contacting support@businesstoolph.com. You may also complain to the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph). Photos stored locally on your device are under your direct control at all times.

7. Changes

We may update this policy as AutoPrint evolves; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.
